Saline Removal Services

What is Saline Removal?

Some people avoid getting tattoos, even semi-permanent ones , because they are worried about having second thoughts. Fortunately, if you have been tattooed with permanent/semi-permanent makeup, be it microblading or microneedling or micropigmentation or whatever else, and you decide you want to change your look then there is a solution: saline removal. This is a method that uses saline, a perfectly safe solution composed only of salt and water, to draw tattoo ink and pigments up through the skin. Saline removal is safe for most skin types, as opposed to alternative methods that can lead to blistered, hypo/hyper pigmented or scarred skin. It tends to be less painful than laser removal and typically, even less painful than when the tattoo was first applied. The length of time that the procedure will take will depend on various factors, like the size of the tattoo, but regardless it is a treatment that will quickly and effectively remove tattoos for good. From there, if you'd like, we can come up with a plan for a new style, a new look or aesthetic. The choice is yours, and saline removal can give you that freedom.

Saline Removal vs. Laser Tattoo Removal

Laser tattoo removal works by breaking down pigment into small particles that are absorbed into the lymphatic system and expelled by the body. Saline removal is an alternative for those who do not like the idea of having pigment absorbed by the lymphatic system. Removing tattoos via laser often leaves scar tissue. It may not be possible to re-tattoo over that particular area. However, you may re-tattoo over an area that has had saline tattoo removal. When you want to remove your existing microblading and get your brows tattooed, saline is a better choice. Laser removal generally targets specific colors. Be sure the laser used is capable of targeting all colors. So far, lasers especially have trouble with white ink since they often cannot detect it. Meanwhile, saline removal works on all colors, every time.
